After months of rumors, speculation, and leaks, Rockstar Games has finally announced the Red Dead Redemption 2 PC port. Available for pre-order through the Rockstar Launcher beginning October 9, the Red Dead Redemption 2 PC release date is November 5. Pre-orders for the Epic Games Store, Greenman Gaming, the Humble Store, GameStop, and some other digital platforms will begin on October 23, meaning Red Dead Redemption 2 isn't exclusive to the Rockstar Launcher as some had previously expected.

While Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC isn't exclusive to the Rockstar Launcher, pre-ordering it through the launcher will definitely give players more bang for their buck, as it comes with classic games including Grand Theft Auto 3Grand Theft Auto: Vice CityGrand Theft Auto: San AndreasBully: Scholarship EditionLA Noire: The Complete Edition, and Max Payne 3: The Complete Edition (players can select two), on top of the Outlaw Survival Kit, War Horse, Treasure Map, and Cash Bonus for Story Mode. Those who decide to pre-order the Red Dead Redemption 2 PC port through other avenues will get 25 Gold Bars, and they have until October 23 to do so. It's unclear if there will be any pre-order bonuses for the Steam version of the game, but we do know that Red Dead Redemption 2 won't be coming to Steam until December for reasons that are unknown at the time of this writing.

Meanwhile, all versions of Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC will include some content that wasn't available in the original release. Besides graphical enhancements that will be available to players with powerful PCs, players can also experience new Bounty Hunting Missions, Gang Hideouts, and more in the story mode. There will also be new weapons that weren't in the original versions of the game. Rockstar hasn't revealed if this content is coming to Red Dead Redemption 2 on consoles or not.

We also learned today that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be coming to Google Stadia. A Red Dead Redemption 2 Google Stadia port has been rumored for some time, but no official announcement was made until today. It's unclear if the Stadia version of Red Dead Redemption 2 comes with the extra content that the PC version does, but we should find out later this week.
