Niantic wasn't kidding when it said that November was going to be full of events for Pokemon GO players, but the super busy month is nearly ready to come to a close. Before December arrives, there is one more event for players to take advantage of though: The very first Pokemon GO Friends Fest!

Friends Fest is a new event in Pokemon GO all about celebrating friendship and families. Players will have an increased chance to encounter family-themed Pokemon and they'll also get some exciting bonuses to make advantage of when Raiding against Pokemon GO's latest Legendary. There's a focus on Trading, so try to make sure you find a Best Friend to play with if you want to take full advantage of all the bonuses.

Players don't have to set out with a group of Friends to participate in Friends Fest, but a few of the bonuses do really want trainers to be working with their friends. The increased raid attack damage and the bonus Lucky Trade both are great motivation to team up with a buddy, take a break from catching the best Unova region Pokemon in the game, and take part in the event.
