The Terminator is set to arrive as Mortal Kombat 11's next DLC character in only a matter of days, and more details about this highly anticipated fighter are now beginning to surface. Yesterday, footage of the Terminator's story ending in Mortal Kombat 11 was released, and now the name of the actor that will be lending his voice to the cyborg has been revealed. Specifically, the Mortal Kombat 11 Terminator voice actor has been confirmed as Chris Cox.

Chris Cox is a veteran voice actor whose work can be heard in an array of television programs, movies, and video games. With respect to Cox's TV work, he has been featured extensively in the animated show Family Guy, assuming a myriad of roles in over 100 episodes. His voice can also be heard in series like BoJack Horseman, Lost in Oz, and The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

When it comes to video games, Cox has a great deal of experience prior to Mortal Kombat 11, with his voice appearing in a number of Marvel and DC games as well as in multiple entries in the Jak & Daxter and Gears of War series. This includes a presence in the just released Gears 5, where Cox voiced Garron Paduk. Other recent video games featuring Cox's voice include Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, and Spider-Man.

With such an extensive resume, it is not too surprising that Cox was handpicked by Arnold Schwarzenegger to be the Terminator voice actor in Mortal Kombat 11, and fans are already getting a taste of his contributions through the MK11 Terminator gameplay footage that is now available. While some fans may feel that the Mortal Kombat 11 Terminator voice acting falls short of what Schwarzenegger could have done in the role, hopefully most players will find Cox's work serviceable.
