GameStop has been teasing its plans for Black Friday for some time now. The storefront teased earlier this month that it would be one of the first retailers to open on Thanksgiving Day, with GameStop doors opening at 3:00 pm on November 28. Most retailers won't be opening until 6:00 pm or later. GameStop thinks it can get a leg up on the competition with its hours and Black Friday discounts. One thing is clear, GameStop's Black Friday discounts are certainly some of the best.

GameStop's 4-page Black Friday advertisement is now available for Black Friday shoppers to peruse. The ad covers deals on the lastest video game consoles, steep cuts to the price of tons of new games, and a surprising array of toys and video game merchandise, too. Most discounts will be available starting November 28 through store hours Sunday, December 1, with most available online and in-store. GameStop will have some Black Friday Doorbusters, however, that will only last for Thursday and Friday.

Perhaps GameStop's biggest Doorbuster is a special deal for potential Nintendo Switch console buyers. GameStop will be selling the same Nintendo Switch Mario Kart 8 Deluxe bundle that all retailers are advertising for Black Friday, of course. But GameStop is also sweetening the deal. GameStop is offering an additional $25 gift card with Nintendo Switch purchases. The card is available for the Nintendo Switch Mario Kart 8 Deluxe bundle on Thursday and Friday, and for all Nintendo Switch Lite purchases Saturday and Sunday. So far, this might be the best deal for the Nintendo Switch yet, and perhaps the only one for Nintendo Switch Lite.

Other big GameStop-specific Black Friday deals include a free $25 coupon with the purchase of a Glacier White PS4 Pro system for $299. GameStop will also be selling a $99.99 refurbished or pre-owned Xbox One, bundled with a controller. And for POP Vinyl fans, GameStop will be having a buy 2 get 1 free sale on all figures $11.99 and up. Other toy sales include 20% off all LEGO sets and a free Overwatch mask with the purchase of an Overwatch Ultimates figure.

It goes without saying, but GameStop will also have huge discounts on dozens of new games. PS4 and Xbox One versions of Mortal Kombat 11, Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Madden 20, Borderlands 3, Gears 5, Red Dead Redemption 2, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will be on sale for $30 or less. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Need for Speed Heat, and NHL 20 will be on sale for less than $40. All PlayStation Hits will be just $9.99. And that's just the start.
