As fans dropped into the brand new island map for Fortnite Chapter 2, they quickly found that the recent update is much more than a simple visual overhaul. As indicated in the recent launch trailer, this latest permutation of Fortnite has added a lot of new mechanics and features on top of the familiar shoot and build moment to moment gameplay. In addition to motorboats, being able to swim, and shooting bandages at teammates with a Bazooka, Epic Games has also streamlined the weapon systems by vaulting a large portion of gadgets and guns.

While Epic Games has yet to put out official patch notes, diligent Fortnite players have already begun to put together unofficial notes of every single item, gadget, and weapon that has seemingly been vaulted from the Battle Royale experience. At this point, it's unknown if any of them will make a return at some point but at the very least, starting from scratch may help level the playing field for those who are veterans of the series or just dropping in for the first time.

As noted by Orbed, the unofficial vault list includes a ton of weapons, useful items like the slurp, and even gear obtained during the recent Batman crossover event. The full list, while unofficial, includes the following:

  • AK Heavy Assault Rifle
  • Auto Sniper
  • Batman Event Items
  • Bouncer
  • Campfire
  • Desert Eagle hand cannon
  • Chug Jug
  • Chug Splash
  • Flint-Knock Pistol
  • Heavy Sniper
  • Hoverboard
  • Infantry Rifle
  • Junk Rifts
  • Launch Pad
  • Mini Gun
  • Revolver
  • Shield Bubbles
  • Shockwave
  • Silenced Submachine Gun
  • Slurp
  • Stinkers
  • Suppressed SCAR
  • Tactical Submachine Gun
  • Vending Machines

Of course, the new update is chock full of customization items like character skins, backpacks, gliders, and more courtesy of the Chapter 2 Season 1 Battle Pass. Unlocking 100 tiers remains largely the same as it ever was, though this new version lets players level beyond the traditional cap of 100. It'll set players back 950 V-Bucks ($9.50), though the pass also contains 1,500 V-Bucks so players who complete every challenge can earn their money back and more.

Fortnite is out now for iOS, Android, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
