The comes via future content for next-gen consoles is hinted at through the recruitment website for Square Enix's First Development Division, the team behind the aforementioned remake and Kingdom Hearts 3.

On Square Enix's recruitment website, projects listed include Final Fantasy 7 Remake as well as Kingdom Hearts 3, though the website also shows a brief amount of information for another project. Specifically, the project is noted on the website as a "'next-generation action game experience' that takes a step forward from the existing action game framework."

Beyond this, the page does not any other information about the new project. Rather, it is simply suggested that the game will on the PS5 and Xbox Project Scarlett, which will both be home to five Ubisoft games as well. Already, Square Enix has given onlookers quite a few previews of the remake of what many deem to be one of the best games in the long-running series. Most recently, Final Fantasy 7 Remake's official Twitter account previewed Tifa's Limit Break, also called Somersault, which lands a powerful kick on the opponent chosen to exact the Limit Break on.
