Black Friday and Thanksgiving happen this week, and Bungie is feeling the holiday spirit. The developers are taking off on holiday and dropped a new TWAB (This Week at Bungie) in their wake. But there’s more to this post than just its off-schedule release. Bungie has some deals in their store that they would like to share with their fans (Guardians) regarding Destiny 2.

Bungie recognizes that their fans are the only reason why it gets to do what it does every day. In the spirit of giving back, the developers have laid out some special Black Friday deals for guardians to take advantage of at the Bungie Store. The store’s Black Friday deals will start on the 28 of November.

Guardians will find that loot during this time will reach up to 50% off. They’ll be able to purchase gear and clothing ranging from shirts, accessories, and even collectibles for themselves or for others. Christmas is around the corner, after all. Bungie doesn’t specify what exact items will be on sale, but they did detail another specific deal that players can look forward too.

Every purchase made up through December 9, 2019, 11:59 p.m. PT will net guardians a free exclusive emblem to show off. What’s more, any purchases that equal or exceed 50 dollars will gift guardians a free limited-edition piece of Destiny art; although, this only applies while the art is in stock. Also, EU shoppers using the EU versions of the Bungie Store will have access to the emblem deal, too, and "can expect more extensive product availability before the end of this year.

Finally, Bungie is starting a new promotion involving the fans called Artist Alley. When Black Friday begins, guardians will be able to purchase Bungie-approved Destiny fan art in the Bungie Store. Art will appear in the form of shirts and other clothes and collectibles. Each artist receives a commission for each purchase made for their specific art; however, at the moment, only Bungie-invited artists are allowed to participate (in creating the art -- everyone can buy). Bungie will also be adding more designs in the future.

There looks to be plenty of deals for Destiny fans to take advantage of. Bungie would also like to let players know that while it will close on the holidays, it'll have support in place to make sure DestinyDestiny 2, and the Destiny Companion app run smoothly.

Destiny 2 is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
