Players have recently discovered a roller coaster in Borderlands 3. This theme park attraction is a bit off the beaten path, but those that find it can enjoy a ride and get some prizes to boot.

Titles like Borderlands 3 are no strangers to hiding secrets in its games. From Borderlands 3 easter eggs to hidden locales like this, players will probably be finding more hidden goodies as time goes on.

A video was recently posted on Reddit showing off a hidden roller coaster hidden in one of Borderland 3's world. Players can get on the coaster and ride it all the way to the end if they want to. There's even a good reason to do so, as along the roller coaster track are targets. Shoot down all the targets, and it'll unlock the door to a Red Chest. All and all, not a bad reward for enjoying a fun carnival attraction.

This roller coaster can be found in the Splinterlands, a late-game area on Pandora. There's no side quest in Borderlands 3 that guides players to the location, so stumbling upon this location may be random as it's in the middle of a desert. Granted, it's not very well-hidden, with the roller coaster only being a little off the path between story quests. Then again, with no actual reason to veer off the path, the large roller coaster can be easy to miss. Well, unless the player is a completionist that is looking for all the Claptrap parts, as the hunt would lead to this location.

Borderlands 3 has garnered a lot of attention since its release, and is full to the brim with content to keep players invested for a long time. While not every story beat is resolved in Borderlands 3, there's plenty for players to discover if they decide to go off and explore. A big, fully-functional roller coaster is a testament to that.

Still, it's a shame there's not a side quest or something that guides players to the location. What other crazy structures players will come across while exploring every nook and cranny of Borderlands 3 remains to be seen.

Borderlands 3 is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with a Stadia version also in development.
