Mortal Kombat 11 has quite a bit of cosmetic items that players can unlock in the game, though not all of them are available at all times. In fact, there are some skins and the like that are locked until players are given the chance to earn them in-game, usually by completing limited-time Towers. And that's exactly the case with the Mortal Kombat 11 Blood Magic Skarlet skin, which is currently available to unlock in the game for the first time since launch - but players will have to act fast if they want to get it.

Mortal Kombat 11 players have less than 24 hours from the time of this writing to complete the Ko-Op Tower called Sparring Match, which is necessary to unlock the Blood Magic Skarlet skin. There are reports that the Ko-Op Tower isn't appearing for players on all platforms. We were unable to locate it playing on Xbox One, for example. However, it does seem to be live for PC and PS4 at least, though fans will just have to check their game to see if it's available to them.

After completing the Ko-Op Tower, Mortal Kombat 11 players will get the Blood Magic Skarlet skin.

Mortal Kombat 11 Skarlet players no doubt appreciate the chance to finally unlock the Blood Magic skin, but others are waiting on a different Skarlet skin to be come available to the masses. The Kold War Skarlet skin has been highly sought-after due to its exclusivity, having previously been a Russian pre-order exclusive, and then later made available to some Amazon purchasers. Versions of Mortal Kombat 11 with the Kold War Skarlet skin have routinely been sold at marked-up prices on eBay, but many fans would like the opportunity to earn it in-game instead.

Right now, the Mortal Kombat 11 Kold War Skarlet skin isn't even available for purchase in-game with microtransactions. Whether or not NetherRealm eventually makes Kold War Skarlet available to the masses remains to be seen, but it will be a big deal if it ever happens. Given Mortal Kombat 11 game director Ed Boon's tendency to troll fans, no one should get too excited about Kold War Skarlet until the skin is actually in the game itself, however.

Mortal Kombat 11 is out now for PC, PS4, Switch, Stadia, and Xbox One.
