The latest virtual reality experience from The VOID has been announced as Marvel Studio's Avengers: Damage Control. The initial trailer showed Shuri presenting a new prototype of the Iron Man suit with little else revealed about the story. Now, in the recently released story trailer, fans will see that an old threat to the MCU has resurfaced: Ultron.

The full story trailer shows Doctor Strange in his Sanctum Sanctorum warning of a villain rebuilding its strength in secret that is going to resurface. Suddenly a large looming figure crosses the screen revealing an Ultron reborn. A James Spader-sounding voice comes through saying an ominous, "You have failed to see the big picture, but no turning back now." It's clear that Marvel wants fans to have a full experience as players will fight their way through rounds of enemies, meeting a few familiar faces along the way.

Ultron was first introduced to the MCU by Tony Stark as a peacekeeping measure for the world. Using the Stark technology and the Mind Stone, Ultron became self-aware and deemed humanity as the greatest threat to Earth. The Avengers fought and defeated Ultron in MCU's Avengers: The Age of Ultron, however not all of his components were retrieved and were eventually sold on the black market.

Now Ultron is back wreaking havoc, and fans can join in the fight. Players can join forces with Spider-Man as he trains the recruits in how to use their new suits which are a combination of Wakandan and Stark Industries technology. Marvel spared no expense as appearances from characters like Black Panther, the Hulk, Antman, and The Wasp are featured throughout the game as well. The motion of players' hands will help in the fight alongside the Avengers.

For those unfamiliar with The VOID's technology, players wear headsets and portable packs that help with the fully immersive experience. There are several rooms arranged in a maze-like passageway that will help guide layers through the game. The headsets utilize an inside out tracking so that players do not need controllers or gloves as they physically walk through The VOID's game. Players can reach out and interact with the environment which is part virtual, and part physical. Other elements like heat and smell help enhance the experience and become something beyond the norm of virtual reality.

Avengers: Damage Control will be available multiple locations at The VOID for a limited run, including New York City, Atlanta, Santa Monica, and Downtown Disney District in Anaheim, CA. Tickets can be purchased here.
